UpStartSTOKE is a FREE service which offers unsigned artists and bands practical professional help.

Make sure your band is on our database. It's dead easy for you to register, simply go to the ARTIST page and if you are already listed follow the instructions so that we can send you your login details. If you are new to UpStart just go to LOGIN.

Every time you update your gig listing it’ll automatically go on our GIG GUIDE which is regularly emailed to our data base, so there is no excuse for your gig not getting seen!

From Across The Sea

are a new Ambient Thrash Post Rock band from Stoke On Trent.

Their influences include This Will Destroy You, Godspeed You, Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, Team Sleep, A Silver Mt. Zion, Explosions In The Sky and Jeniferever to name a few.


They are after a new musician to add more layers to their sound whether you play Guitar, Lap Steel, Violin or others.
But Guitarist prefered.

They ask that you...
-have similar influences
-commit to practice at The Glebe 4 hours a week minimum
-Own "quality" gear

They intend to record before the fall of this year and to be gigging before christmas.
